PURPOSE: To make a moving stroke large in a conveying device which can be carried out sideways by providing a plurality of rollers on a moving frame on which an engaging body is projected out on the lower portion and winding a supporting belt the ends of which are engaged with a conveying body on a winding roller via the supporting belt.
CONSTITUTION: As a moving frame 3 is moved by pushing a roller 7 projectingly provided on the lower portion of the moving frame 3 or a pin 8 projecting out of the roller 7, rollers 4 act as fixed pulleys and rollers 5 act as movable pulleys. Hence, the middle portion of a supporting belt 6 on a conveying body 1 is moved by integral multiples of the moving stroke S of the moving frame 3 in the direction opposite to the moving direction of the moving frame 3. At this time, the multiple of stroke is determined by the number of rollers to be wound. By this structure, a long moving stroke can be obtained by a short operating stroke.
