Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor chain capable of easily performing discharge and conversion of direction of an article conveyed by the conveyor chain onto a side, reducing the number of parts of a chain link constituting the conveyor chain, and performing assembly, disassembly, and replacement of parts or the like of the conveyor chain easily.
SOLUTION: The conveyor chain 1 is formed by connecting a plurality of chain links 2 having a plurality of hinge parts 4, 5 formed at fringes on both sides of an article loading part 3 by a hinge pin 7 in an endless manner. A cavity part 8 is provided between the hinge parts 4 and 4 formed at a fringe on one side of the loading part 3, and a ball unit 12 holding a free ball 16 turnably in a divided cover 15 composed of an upper cover 13 and a lower cover 14 is mounted in the cavity part. Upper and lower parts of the free ball 16 protrude from opening parts 13a, 14a of the upper and lower part covers 13, 14 and protrude from upper and lower faces of the conveyor chain 1.
