Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling control device and a cooling control method by which cooling water flow rate is controlled so as to perform sufficient cooling operation while maintaining cooling water temperature within a safe range.
SOLUTION: When detecting temperature of cooling water discharged to a discharge line 24 by being fed through heat exchangers 17, 18, opening of a flow control valve device 26 is controlled so as to maintain the cooling water temperature within a permissible range. By so doing, the flow rate of cooling water fed through the heat exchangers 17, 18 can be controlled. The flow rate control allows the temperature of blow-down water cooled in the heat exchangers 17, 18 to be maintained at the permissible upper limit temperature or lower.
