Title:
COOLING PRESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06305114
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the washing resistance of clothes by heat transcribing a resin sheet simply without wetting the sheet by using an upper iron as a cooling plate and setting the cooling temperature of a cooling device in a range below 0°C.

CONSTITUTION: In a resin heat transcription sheet, since the resin itself is an image forming material to be stuck to cloth, the image holding strength is decided by the adhesion of the resin to cloth. In order to increase the peel strength of the sheet, the resin sheet, after being pressed in a heat press, is cooled rapidly in a cooling press 2. In the cooling press 2, the upper iron 1 is used as a cooling plate the temperature of which is controlled below 0°C within a certain range. The resin, after being heated at high temperatures under high pressure, is cooled rapidly in the cooling press 2, so that the resin is solidified to improve adhesion to the cloth.
