Title:
COOLING STRUCTURE FOR LIGHTING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012084834
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cooling structure for lighting equipment which can improve radiation performance of a heat sink as well as save weight thereof.

This cooling structure for lighting equipment has a heat sink 1 formed by parallely erecting a plurality of plate-shaped radiation fins 3 and 4 on a back face of a base plate 2 to which an LED (lighting source) 10 is mounted. The direction parallel to the base plate 2 is a flow direction of cooling air, and three or more of radiation fins 3 and 4 are provided in the flow direction of the cooling air. The radiation fin 4 close to the LED 10 and the other radiation fin 4 in the further left and right in the flow direction of the cooling air than the radiation fin 4 close to the LED 10 are arranged in staggered directions in a orthogonal direction of the flow direction of the cooling air.
