Title:
CORDLESS IRON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3427463
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cordless iron capable of electrically detecting whether the main body of an iron is put on the stand or not.
CONSTITUTION: The main body 1 of an iron has a transmitting means 11. A stand 2 has a receiving means 12, first and a second resistances 7, 8, first and second switches 4, 6, a load terminal part 5, and a loading detection means 10. The loading detection means 10 detects whether the main body 1 of the iron is put on the stand or not, by sensing the difference of voltage of the load terminal 5. Then, when the first and the second switch 4, 6 are closed, whether the main body 1 of the iron is put on the stand or not is detected by the signal which the receiving means 12 receives from the transmitting means 11, and if the main body 1 is not put on the stand, the first and the second switches 4, 6 are opened, causing the load terminal part 5 to be an unchanged part.
