Title:
CORE-SAMPLING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3676292
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-sampling apparatus of a double-tube structure for use in geological survey, which has its upper-stage tube of an inner pipe divided into half bodies, but maintains the cylindrical shape of the half bodies during core-sampling operation thereof.
SOLUTION: The core-sampling apparatus is constructed by hanging an outer pipe 3 from a rotating boring rod 1 via an outer pipe head 2, connecting an inner pipe head 6 to a spindle 4 hung from the outer pipe head 2 in an irrotational manner, and hanging the inner pipe to which a plurality of tubes are connected from the inner pipe head 6, to thereby define a fluid passage between the outer pipe 3 and the inner pipe 8. According to the core-sampling apparatus, an uppermost-side tube 20 of the inner pipe is detachably connected to the inner pipe head 6 via an attachment 7, and the uppermost-side tube 20 of the inner pipe is formed of a pair of half bodies 24 which cooperatively form a cylindrical body when abutted on each other. Then, the attachment 7 is fitted to an upper portion of both half bodies 24 abutted on each other, which attachment is then fixed by an engaging fixture 18, to thereby maintain the cylindrical body of the half bodies.
