Abstract:
To provide a corrosion-resistant coating composition which is applicable also as a general-purpose coating material by decreasing the used amount of a negative ion generator.
This corrosion-resistant coating composition contains a negative ion generator and a hydroxy-group-containing coating-film-forming resin. The negative ion generator is selected from among bastnaesite, monazite, chinese complex ore, and zircon stone. The content of the negative ion generator in the composition is 0.1-60 wt.% based on the amount of nonvolatile components. The reduced hydroxyl value of the coating-film-forming resin is 40-200.
