To provide a cosmetic application container which is easy to operate to be used simply and in which cosmetics are housed compactly.

The cosmetic application container is provided with: a housing container which has an opening part and houses cosmetics; a cap mounted to the opening part; an applicator which is provided so as to project from the cap and which is housed in the housing container when the cap is mounted to the opening part; an application part provided at the end of the applicator for applying the cosmetics; and a connection member for connecting the cap with the housing container so that the cap may move a prescribed distance in a longitudinal direction with respect to the housing container. The prescribed distance is a distance enough for pulling the application part out from the housing container, and the connection member pivots the cap rotatably in a state where the application part is pulled out from the housing container.
