To provide a cosmetic composition which provides improved skin touch characteristics.
The cosmetic composition comprises (i) 0.1-15% of non-emulsifying crosslinked siloxane elastomer having an average particle size of at least 20 μm and lacking a polyoxyalkylene unit, (ii) 0.1-15% of emulsifying crosslinked siloxane elastomer having one or more polyoxyalkylene units, (iii) 10-80% of a solvent for suspending and swelling the crosslinked siloxane elastomers to provide an elastic gel-like net structure or matrix, and selected from a group consisting of a nonpolar volatile oil, a comparatively polar nonvolatile oil and a nonpolar nonvolatile oil, (iv) >0% but ≤30% of a polyhydric alcohol, (v) >0% but ≤85% of water, and (vi) >0% but ≤30% of a colorant selected from a group consisting of an inorganic pigment, an organic pigment, a lake, a dye and a toner.
