COVERING PART FOR SHOULDER AND NECK OF TUBE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To obtain a covering part for use on a tube container to cover therewith its long, narrow neck and its shoulder whose diameter is greater than that of the neck.
CONSTITUTION: At the initial stage of drawing operation, a circular laminated material is pressed with so a low pressure as to allow the gathers to be produced thereon, the pressure is then gradually increased, so that the gathers produced on the covering of a neck 5 are made to lie one upon another gradually and, at the final stage of drawing operation, the gathers produced on the covering of a shoulder 4 are pressed into a finally finished form. During the drawing operation, the laminated material is not fractured and the covering of the neck 5 is given a length greater than the diameter of a closed part. The covering part obtained by this method is made up of a structure which has the gathers laid one upon another and keeps the shape formed by the drawing operation in the almost original condition.
