Title:
CROSS SHAFT COUPLING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3945211
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the generation of abnormal sound due to the interference of a spider shaft part and a needle bearing without causing a sharp rise in manufacturing cost.
SOLUTION: A contact part 6a of the spider shaft part 6 is formed so that the outer diameter is made larger than that of the center part 6b, and thereby the fitting of the contact part (large diameter part) 6a and the needle bearing 5 can be set to an interference. Therefore, the generation of abnormal sound due to the interference of both of the spider shaft part 6 and the needle bearing 5 can be prevented by uniformly maintaining a very small gap between the center part 6b of the spider shaft part 6 and the needle bearing 5. The contact part 6a of the spider shaft part 6 has a bottomed hole 12 formed on the end face of the axial center and thereby is formed into a thin ring shape. Therefore, even if the contact part 6a is small in rigidity in the radial direction and the fitting of the contact part 6a and the needle bearing 5 is the interference, a contact surface pressure is not so much increased.
