Title:
CROSSLINKED POLYSILANE AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2621706
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a crosslinked polysilane suitable for a precursor of silicon carbide ceramics having excellent mechanical strength, photoresist material, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A silicon-hydrogen bond of a linear or cyclic polysilane shown by formula I (R1, R2 and R3 are monofunctional hydrocarbon; n is ≥3 integer and m is ≥2 integer) and alkenyl groups of a compound containing two or more alkenyl groups shown by formula II (R4, R5 and R6 are H or 1-6C monofunctional hydrocarbon) are subjected to addition reaction in the presence of a radical initiator. A polyhydric alcohol unsaturated carboxylic acid ester is preferable as the compound shown by formula II and an unsaturated hydrocarbon compound such as 1,5-hexadiene, a vinyl group-containing siloxane compound and a silicon compound such as 1,2-bis(trivinylsilyl)ethane may be used.
