Abstract:
To provide a current direction determination apparatus capable of correctly determining a direction of a current flowing in an electric motor.SOLUTION: In a current direction determination process, it is determined that a direction of a current flowing in an electric motor M is a direction of right driving until a lapsed time exceeds a threshold value after an output of a control pulse signal to a switch SW1 was detected. In addition, it is determined that the direction of the current flowing in the electric motor M is a direction of left driving until the lapsed time exceeds the threshold value after ON of a switch SW due to an output of the control pulse signal to the switch SW2 was detected. When the control pulse signal is being output to neither the switch SW1 or switch SW2, it is determined that the direction of the current flowing in the electric motor M is the same as the last direction that was determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
