Abstract:

To provide a cuttable member which is efficiently cut and is simply handled and further is easily produced, and also to provide a method of producing the same.

Reinforced resin sheets 2 made of short-fibers impregnated with a resin and reinforced resin sheets 3 made of long-fibers arranged in one direction which are impregnated with the resin are alternately laminated into a multilayer body. The reinforced resin sheets 2, 3 are wound around a plastic tube 7 in a roll shape into which a core material comprising battens is inserted, and then are inserted into a die 8. The plastic tube 7 is expanded by sealing vapor pressure into the plastic tube from an end 7a. The reinforced resin sheets 2, 3 are integrated through heat-treatment by the die 8 and the plastic tube 7.
