Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that noise is large when plate-like wood is cut.
SOLUTION: The cutting machine of plate-like wood comprises a rotational cutter 19 having a plurality of radial cutting blades rotating at low speed and a free roller 21 arranged adjacent to the cutter, supported by a shaft 22 parallel to the cutter and resiliently pressing the plate-like wood in the direction of the cutter. In the machine the plate-like wood is inserted between the cutter and the free roller and the circumferential speed of the cutter and the feed speed of the plate-like wood are set to accorded with each other.
