Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit chatter vibrations in cutting equipment.SOLUTION: In a method for correcting a processing state when the presence of chatter vibrations is determined by judging vibrations, which are generated during cutting, by using a chatter index, a cutting frequency and its high-order frequency, and a chatter frequency and its high-order frequency are computed from a processing frequency; such a number of revolution of a rotating shaft as to decrease a phase difference between the cutting frequency and the chatter frequency is computed; and a cutting condition is changed on the basis of the result of computation.
