Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain new cyanoalkene derivs. useful as a microbicide for the protection of industrial materials such as wood and coating materials.
CONSTITUTION: The cyanoalkene derivs. are compds. of formula I R is (substd.) 1-12C alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylmercaptoalkyl, cycloalkyl or the like; and R1 is NH-R2, NR3R4, S-R5, SO-R5, SO2-R5 (R2 is alkyl, aryl or the like; R3 and R4 are each alkyl, aryl or the like; and R5 is alkyl, aralkyl or the like) or the like], e.g. 1-ethyl-2-cyano-3-thiocyanato-propene. The compds. of the formula I are obtd. by reacting compds. of formula II (Hal is Cl or Br) with compds. of the formula Y-R1 (Y is H, sodium, trimethylsilyl or the like) in an inert solvent.
