PURPOSE: To cut the cylindrical body precisely without the undulation in the cutting direction by cutting the removing part of the cylindrical body only by the reciprocal motion of the multiblade while holding the fringe part cut groove of the cylindrical body by the holder at the latter stage of cutting.

CONSTITUTION: The blade 15 which is fixed by the spacer 16 is inserted into the blade frame 14, and high tensile force is applied to the blade 15 by moutning the blade on the supporting frame 13 and fastening the nut 19. On the other hand, the cylindrical body 23 is adhered and held around the cylindrical body shaft 21. Then, the cylindrical body 23 is cut as far as the middle part while rotating and slowly descending the cylindrical body 23 and reciprocally moving the blade constructing body 17. Then, the holding member 25 which is slidably held by the holder 26 is inserted into the fringe part cutting groove 24. After doing so, the blade 15 is reciprocally moved again and the cylindrical body 23 is descended to cut the uncut part of the cylindrical body without generating the undulation in the cutting direction.
