Abstract:
To provide a cylinder device with a large stroke using an air hydro mechanism, which effectively uses increased hydraulic pressure for fixing the air hydro mechanism.SOLUTION: By making an outer peripheral surface of a second hydraulic chamber 32 of a cylinder device become a thin-wall portion 15, hydraulic pressure is increased by receiving air pressure from a second air pressure chamber, and the thin-wall portion 15 expands to clamp a cylinder 2. Then, by increasing the second hydraulic pressure chamber 32, the axial extension of the thin-wall portion is suppressed, and the thin-wall portion 15 expands in a diametrical direction, so that as an extension suppressing means in the axial direction, the thin-wall portion 15 is fixed by an extension preventive bolt 34g from both end sides. The extension preventive bolt 34g fixes pressure wall portions on both end sides of the thin-wall portion 15 or a cover 39 and a cover 34 arranged so as to sandwich both ends of the thin-wall portion 15 are fixed. In order to prevent the thin-wall portion 15 from being contracted by the fastening by the extension preventive bolt 34g, a spacer 80 is arranged between the pressure wall portions on both end sides of the thin-wall portion 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
