Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002147076
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To certainly prevent an illegal unlocking, to accurately and easily insert a key into a keyhole in a single operation, and to increase mechanical strength of an insertion part of the key.

The keyhole 2a has a round bar shaped shaft 3 extending concentrically with the keyhole 2a and in the longitudinal direction of the keyhole 2a, and a tumbler 4 is locked on the peripheral surface of the shaft 3. Three projecting strips 1b extending in the longitudinal direction of the insertion part 1a are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the insertion part 1a of the key 1 at a circumferential constant interval. Recessed grooves 2b engaging with the projecting strips 1b are formed in the inner peripheral surface of the keyhole 2a. The tip 3a of the shaft 3 is tapered in a state in which the tip becomes thin toward the inlet 2c of the keyhole 2a, and the tumbler 4 is formed of a tumbler pin 4a and a tumbler ball 4b.
