Abstract:
To provide a cylinder lock enabling the setting of an unlocking code at a specified time after completing the assembly thereof and also enabling an increase in the assemblage of an automobile by enabling the rotating operation of a rotor before setting the unlocking code.
The rotor 3 to which a tumbler 2 capable of forming, along a code forming part 1a formed on an inserted key plate 1, the lock side unlocking code matching the key side unlocking code formed of a code forming part 1a is rotatably inserted into a cylinder case 4. The tumbler 2 responds to an identification part 5 formed on the key plate 1 so that the lock side unlocking code can be formed.
