Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is often difficult to grasp an abrasion amount of components inside a cylinder lock.SOLUTION: A cylinder lock includes: an external cylinder; an internal cylinder arranged rotatably around an axis line of the external cylinder inside the external cylinder and having a keyhole formed into which keyhole a key is inserted; and a projection projecting from an internal wall of the keyhole up to a position where the projection can come into contact with a key when the key in inserted into the keyhole, and showing the use frequency of the cylinder lock by a wear amount due to contact with the key. The key has an insertion part to be inserted into the keyhole, and the projection may project from an internal wall of the keyhole having a cross-sectional shape along the shape of the maximum cross-section of the insertion part of the key.
