Abstract:
To provide a DC motor with an appropriate insulation structure.SOLUTION: The DC motor includes brushes 30 on positive and negative pole sides, lead wires 32, each of which is connected to a lead connection portion 33 of each of the brushes 30, insulating brush holders 40, each of which accommodates each of the 30 brushes, a housing 80, which is provided as an earth potential portion and surrounds the brush holders 40 from outside in a radial direction, a positive electrode side plate 50, and a negative electrode side plate 70. Each lead wire 32 is bendable and has an extra length to allow the brush 30 to move toward a commutator 24. Between the positive electrode side plate 50 and the negative electrode side plate 70, a lead connection 33 in each of the brushes 30 is located closer to the positive electrode side plate 50 than to the negative electrode side plate 70. A protruding portion 46 protrudes circumferentially from the brush holder 40 on the housing 80 side from a drawer portion 42 in the brush holder 40, which accommodates the brush 30 on the positive electrode side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
