Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minutely and precisely control damping force of a suspension by controlling the damping force of the suspension in accordance with the maximum gain of a signal including an oscillation frequency component of a vehicle.

CONSTITUTION: A signal including a spring oscillation frequency component detected by a spring acceleration sensor 1 is input to a gate component extraction part 2, and a gate component signal is extracted. This signal is converted to an absolute valued signal at an absolute valuing part 3, and its maximum value is selected and held at a maximum value selection part 4. The signal including the spring oscillation frequency component is input to a rugged component extraction part 5, a rugged component is extracted, it is absolute-valued at an absolute valuing part 6, and the maximum value is selected and held at a maximum value selecting part 8 through a noise removing part 7. A damping force adjustable value map 9 is formed in accordance with the maximum value of a gate component and the rugged component selected and held, and damping force of a suspension is controlled by an actuator 10 in accordance with it.
