Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output regulation device for molding a three-dimensional object capable of more suitably determining the appropriateness of output of a 3D polygon model.SOLUTION: There is provided a data output regulation device for molding a three-dimensional object comprising: a regulation model data base 60 registered with an area ratio distribution as a frequency distribution based on a value obtained by dividing the area of the circumcircle of a triangle formed by the prescribed points of three polygons in a regulation model by the square root of the area of the triangle; frequency distribution calculation means 10 calculating an area ratio distribution as a frequency distribution based on a value obtained by dividing the area of the circumcircle of a triangle formed by the prescribed points of three polygons in an object model by the square root of the area of the triangle; and frequency distribution collation means 40 of collating the area ratio distribution of the object model with the area ratio distribution of the regulation model and deciding where output should be regulated or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
