Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify a circuit by switching hourly the same transmission line so as to transmit a voice and data.

CONSTITUTION: A data transfer side terminal equipment 20 detects the disconnection of a carrier at a carrier detector 23 and outputs it to a control circuit 28. It will not transmits subsequent data, and when the transmission of the data under the transmission is terminated, the data transfer is stopped. Due to the carrier disconnection the data reception from a demodulator 26 is inhibited afterwards to prevent the reception of data. A sound signal is inputted to a receiver 22 through two-wire x four-wire converter 27, and a call becomes possible.
