PURPOSE: To obtain a DC generator for an electrochemical reactor or the like employing no electrode, where ions are moved directly, by producing electricity through interaction between the ions and magnetic field.
CONSTITUTION: A vinyl pipe 6 is bent at the opposite ends thereof which are then coupled with each other to provide a closed circuit and brine is filled therein to establish an electric circuit. A rotary vane 8 is fixed to N pole 1 disposed in the vinyl pipe 6. A weak three-phase AC current is fed to a surrounding coil to rotate the rotary vane at a proper speed while at the same time a strong DC current is fed at 100V to the same coil so that S pole comes on the inside. Consequently, rotary motion of conductor interacts with a radial fixed field to induce a parallel electromotive force in the rotary shaft thus producing an electromotive force of tens of volts in the brine filled in the vinyl pipe according to the rotational speed and the intensity of radial field.
