Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor with a brush, which is able to restrict motor vibration and noise.SOLUTION: A DC motor with a brush comprises: an amateur having a commutator 7 that rotates together with a revolving shaft; and a brush 20 disposed in contact with the commutator 7. The brush 20 has: a plate-like brush body 21 having a plurality of brush pieces aligned in the longitudinal direction of the revolving shaft and projecting toward the leading-end of the brush 20; and a vibration-proof material 27 disposed in part of the brush body 21. The plurality of brush pieces include: a plurality of main brush pieces disposed in contact with the commutator 7 in a location near the leading end; and dummy brush pieces the leading ends of which are separated from the commutator 7. The vibration-proof material 27 is arranged across both the main brush pieces and dummy brush pieces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
