A regeneration type charge and discharge device 1 that is a DC power supply device, has: a DC power generation circuit 2 for generating a DC power from a system power supply 30; a DC/DC converter 3 operating by receiving an output from the DC power generation circuit 2; and a controller 10 configured so as to access a variation pattern of a target value of an output of the DC/DC converter 3 and a control pattern of a control amount of the DC power generation circuit 2 corresponding to the variation pattern. The controller 10 has: a DC/DC converter controller 12 for controlling the DC/DC converter 3 so that a first monitor value I obtained by monitoring the output of the DC/DC converter 3 becomes equal to the target value; and a DC power generation circuit controller 13 for controlling the control amount of the DC power generation circuit 2 on the basis of the control pattern.
