A piezoelectric element 3 formed with two pairs of selective driving electrode groups 2a, 2b formed of plural electrodes is bonded to one surface of an oscillator 1 also working as a common electrode, and a moving body 4 is pushed to the other surface thereof for contact. The oscillator 1, the two pairs of electrode groups 2a, 2b, the piezoelectric element 3 and the moving body 4 form an ultrasonic motor. Rotation of the moving body 4 rotates a movable body 5 formed of a doll or the like in double ways through a reduction wheel train. Since the ultrasonic motor is compact, the whole of the rotary driving structure of the movable body 5 including the wheel train can be formed thin for miniaturization. The movable body 5 can be placed on a thin support base over a clock so that people are interested in the mechanism of the movable body 5 placed on the flat support base and so as to enhance the appeal of merchandise.
