Abstract:
To solve the problem of a conventional method for imparting the fashionability and elegance on an appearance to a handkerchief, that in the method which hems by cutting a lace cloth knitted continuously in the linear direction in accordance with a shape of the base cloth body formed by notching a curved peripheral portion of the base cloth body, or the like, and then by attaching it to the base cloth body by sewing using a regular sewing machine, there is difficulty in matching a straight lace cloth with a peripheral shape of a base cloth body, and in particular, a disturbance such as an overlap of design at corner portions of a rectangular base cloth body cannot be avoided.SOLUTION: A lace cloth 2 is knitted into a frame shape with a shape portion of a base cloth body 1 removed, and the lace cloth is attached to the base cloth body by sewing the base cloth body to a sewing opening of the base cloth body located in the frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
