Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative board which is obtained by forming a coating layer on one surface of a calcium silicate plate and which can be restrained from being warped concavely, and to provide a method for producing the decorative board.SOLUTION: The decorative board is obtained by forming the coating layer on one surface of the calcium silicate plate and is characterized in that a difference between the water content on the front surface thereof and that on the back surface thereof is 1 mass% or smaller when measured by a water content measuring device. The method for producing the decorative board comprises: a step (a) of applying a coating liquid to one surface of the calcium silicate plate; a step (b) of curing and/or drying the applied coating liquid to form the coating layer; and a step (c) of sprinkling water onto the other surface different from the coating layer-formed surface of the calcium silicate plate. Even if the decorative board is obtained by forming the coating layer on one surface of the calcium silicate plate, the decorative board can be suitably restrained from being warped concavely.
