Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a shape quality as a bathtub and to achieve uniformity of a pattern and protection of the pattern.
CONSTITUTION: A method for decorating a design pattern on an inner periphery of a bathtub by molding the bathtub comprises the steps of coating a surface of a bathtub mold frame 3 to form a gel coating layer 7 of a predetermined thickness, laminating glass fiber 8 before or after the layer 7 is cured, ink jetting the layer 8 by an ink jet printer 4 to decorate a desired picture pattern, and laminating resin 9 on the decoration, pressurizing to cure it, and releasing it from molds.
