To provide a decorative panel which is formed of a single plate but looks like a braided wickerwork or grating.

A plurality of through holes 1 are formed in a plate panel in proper alignment, to thereby form a mesh panel 2 consisting of a plurality of first band bodies d1 and a plurality of second band bodies d2. An intersect portion 3 between the first band body d1 and the second band body d2 of the mesh panel 2 is press-formed to obtain bent walls 4, 4, and one of the band bodies is protruded from the other band body, to thereby produce a decorative panel which apparently has a wickerwork or grating pattern. A press machine for press-forming the intersect portion 3 includes a lower die 8 and an upper die 10 which each are of a band shape which is long in length and narrow in width, and one of the first band body d1 and the second band body d2 is pinched and pressed by the lower and upper dies 8, 10. In this manner, the decorative panel is produced.
