Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a degradable aerosol container which is excellent in transparency and heat resistance and degraded into harmless water and CO2 under the natural environment within a relatively short period of time, by using a specified thermoplastic polymer composition.
CONSTITUTION: The container is made by using a thermoplastic polymer composition composed mainly of a polylactic acid or a copolymer of a hydroxycarboxylic acid with lactic acid preferably comprising L-lactic acid, D-lactic acid or a mixture thereof (e.g. a copolymer of L-lactide with a glycolide comprising a dimeric glycolic acid).
