Abstract:
To obtain a deodorizing fiber structure having an improved deodorizing effect of formaldehyde.
The fiber structure having excellent deodorizing effect is obtained by adding a deodorant composed of a basic oxide and a moisture absorbent to fiber structure. A basic compound oxide containing aluminum and magnesium is preferable as the basic oxide. The moisture absorbent is a polymer containing a hygroscopic monomer being acrylic acid or methacrylic acid or its derivative as a constituent component and preferably ≥90 mol% of the hygroscopic nonomer is an alkali metal salt.
