PURPOSE: To enhance ventilation efficiency by a method wherein a vent of which the opening can be regulated and an exhaust device equipped with a duct having an opening in the direction of a floor surface are installed in the lower parts of a wall inside an evacuation chamber and air in the vicinity of a toilet bowl is moved laterally and horizontally to the floor surface and exhausted outside toilet facilities.

CONSTITUTION: A duct 2 of an exhaust device and a vent 1 are provided in the lower parts of a wall inside an evacuation chamber of a toilet, the vent 1 being provided as just on a diagonal line to the exhaust device as possible. A filter for deodorization prepared by fixing a thin fibrous filter by an outer frame is used as a filter case and a mixture of activated charcoal of the husk of coffee and cubic ligneous activated charcoal is filled in the case. This filter for deodorization is fixed on the suction side of an exhaust fan by screws. Moreover, a module installation stage functioning also as the vent is fitted, with a slant, on the ceiling of the toilet and a solar cell module 6 is fixed on the part of this slant by screws.
