Abstract:
To simply obtain the size of a roof from a photographed image of the roof.
A design aid device comprises an image acquisition means (S01) for obtaining an image of the roof in a state where a unit plate is placed on the roof, and an arithmetic means (S05, S07) for calculating the size of the roof plane by comparing (S04, S06) the roof plane in the obtained image with the unit plate. Since the inclination of the roof plane and the inclination of the unit plate are the same, the length of the roof plane in each direction in the image of the roof can be obtained on the basis of the length of the unit plate in each direction in the image.
