Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure of retractable casters, a structure that can be combined with a desk in which a top board is fixed to legs.SOLUTION: The desk includes: a top board 1; a leg 5 having a bracket part 2 that is fixed to the underside of the top board, a pillar part 3 that is fixed to the bracket part in the upper end and vertically extended, and a foot part 4 that is fixed to the lower end of the pillar part and extended forward and backward; a caster frame 10 having a driven part 7 in which vertical movement is guided inside the pillar part, a caster support part 8 which is fixed to the lower end of the driven part and extended forward and backward, and a plurality of casters 9; a caster raising/lowering lever 17 which is supported on the bracket part in a rockable manner; and a caster frame driving member that is engaged with the upper end of the driven part, that raises/lowers the caster frame by rocking integrally with the caster raising/lowering lever, and that raises the casters to the same height as or higher than the lower face of the foot part at the raised position of the caster frame as well as protruding the casters lower than the lower face of the foot part at the lowered position.
