This device 1 includes a placing part 2 for placing a stage stacking object M and a standard object C after destacking and controlling lifting, a placing part lifting control means 3 for lifting operation of the placing part 2, a support part 4 for supporting this stage stacking object from the side in a predetermined height position when lifting the stage stacking object M by lifting of the placing part 2, and a support part control means 5 for controlling its operation. An upper surface of the placing part 2 can be lifted up to a lower end position (a first reference position) of the standard object C of the lowest stage directly supported by the support part 4 among the stage stacking object M, and the support part 4 is controlled by the support part control means 5 so as to release support to the standard object C when the upper surface of the placing part 2 reaches the first reference position.
