To increase driving force of a detaching roller while suppressing an increase in inertia.
A detaching roller 4 comprises gears 18A and 18B at respective ends thereof. Three servomotors 20A, 20B and 20C are arranged on one end side of the detaching roller 4, and three servomotors 21A, 21B and 21C are arranged on the other end side thereof. In the servomotors 20A, 20B and 20C, gears 22A, 22B and 22C fixed on respective motor shafts are arranged to mesh with one common idle gear 23. The common idle gear 23 is arranged to mesh with the gear 18A of the detaching roller 4. The servomotors 21A, 21B and 21C are configured in the same manner. Thus, the detaching roller 4 is driven by at least the three servomotors 20A, 20B and 20C on the one side. As a result of such configuration, the servomotors having a small rotor diameter and a short rotor length can be used, so that an increase in rotor inertia can be suppressed, and large driving force can be obtained by the combined torque of the motors.
