Title:
DETECTING APPARATUS OF STATE OF EXCAVATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6425007
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous execution of an excavating operation with detection of the state of excavation, by fitting a sonar sensor to a tubular body provided in a hole piercing a hull vertically and by making the sensor transmit and receive an ultrasonic signal. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 16 is driven by a motor 22 by an operation conducted from an operating chamber 6, on the occasion of an operation of excavation of the seabed, a tubular body 15 is guided by a guide 14 and moved downward, and a sonar sensor 8 fixed to the fore end of the tubular body 15 is made to project under a hull 2 from a through hole 12. Next, based on an instruction signal given from a circuit element 19 by an operation from the operating chamber 6, an ultrasonic wave is transmitted in the direction of the seabed from the sensor 8, and a reflection wave obtained by the reflection on the seabed is received by the sensor 8 and inputted to the circuit element 19 through a code 18. Based on the received reflection wave, the circuit element 19 supplies an image signal to a display unit 20 through a code 21, and thus an operator can move an excavator to a desired position to conduct the excavating operation while monitoring a displayed image of the excavated surface of the seabed.
