Abstract:

To realize a method and its device for stably generating detonation and producing a high-temperature gas of 2,000-3,000°C by the detonation.

Three high-temperature gas generators 3 are mounted, a pipe conduit 26 is mounted for propagating a part of detonation wave generated by the high-temperature gas generator 61 started at first, to the other high-temperature gas generator 62 from a detonation wave take-out port 23, an opening and closing mechanism 25 is mounted on the pipe conduit 26 for propagation, and a mixture gas of ordinary air and hydrocarbon is injected through a backfire preventing mechanism 24 to assist the propagation of the detonation wave and to ignite a mixture gas of fuel and oxidant injected to an initial combustion zone 4 from an injection port 6 to start the detonation. After the start of the detonation, the opening and closing mechanism 25 is closed.
