To provide a device for attaching the side panel of a desk, which is capable of attaching the side panel at any position in the horizontal direction in the desk provided with a front panel and a wiring duct along the rear part of a top plate, increasing support strength, and improving appearance as well.
While the hook of an upper connector 5 is locked to the hanging groove 9 of the front panel 2 and fixed by a movement regulator 6 and a connection piece 11 extended forward of the upper connector is fastened with screws to the rear upper surface of the side panel 4, the base 12 of a lower holder 7 is positioned inside the wiring duct 3, a first bend piece 13 at one end part of the base is fastened with screws to the rear lower surface of the top plate 1, and a second bend piece 15 at the other end part of the base projects upwards from the top plate and engaged with the rear part inside a recessed groove provided along the lower end surface of the side panel. One fixing piece of a front connector 8 holding the front edge of the top plate is fastened with screws inside the recessed groove of the lower end surface front part of the side panel, and the other attaching piece 18 is fastened with screws to the lower surface of the top plate.
