Abstract:

PURPOSE: To peel chestnut husks automatically, by putting chestnuts in a gap between the rotating plate with specific blades and a reaction plate in a cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: The rotating plate 1 comprising the triangular blades 3 having a height of about the husk thickness with edges in the direction of rotation, fixed on the blade tables 2 is equipped at the bottom of the side wall plate 6, to which the perforated reaction plate 6 with the inlet 5 is attached. The plate 6 is provided with the outlets 7 and a plurality of small holes 7. Husks of chestnuts from the inlet 5 are cut, and the cuts are enlarged by collision with the small holes of the plates 4 and 6. After repeated collision, the husks are removed. The outlet 7 is opened after a suitable time, and peeled chestnuts are discharged.
