Title:
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE ON DRIER OF PAPER MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3227288
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a controlling device capable of preventing the stoppage of drier owing to an erroneous operation or erroneous setting, when the drier of a paper machine is subjected to a load exceeding its original load.
CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling a differential pressure on the drier of a paper machine is provided on the rotary drum type drier 1 for drying a paper sheet 2 with steam and is provided with a differential pressure adjuster 6 for adjusting the amount of steam so as to give a preliminarily set differential pressure between a charging steam pressure and a discharging steam pressure and further with a motor-driving device 11A for driving a motor 11 for rotation- driving the drier 1. In the device, a judging device 8 for comparing a signal corresponding to the load electric current of a motor 11 for rotation-driving the drier 1 with a preliminarily set load-compensating value is installed. When it is judged with the judging device 8 that the load of the drier 1 exceeds the load compensating value, the set differential pressure value given to the differential pressure adjuster 6 is increased.
