PURPOSE: To automatically cut cloth into necessary length at the end of weaving.

CONSTITUTION: In a weaving machine for making width of cloth fell of cloth 15 coincide with warp passing width of a reed at both side the end parts close to the cloth fell of the cloth by a temple 16, warp is provided with cut marks at fixed intervals by using an ink mixed with a substance detectable by a sensor. The sensor 25 for detecting the cut marks at a fixed position from the cloth 15 and a counting means for converting the detected signals from the sensor 25 into length at the end of weaving are installed.
