To provide a survey meter having a radiation detector capable of elongating the size and thinning the diameter easily and inexpensively, and efficiently measuring radioactive contamination in a pipe.
The survey meter 20 for measuring surface contamination in a pipe is equipped with a rod-shaped light guide part 1, comprising the first light guide part 12 comprising a wavelength shift member and the second light guide part 13, comprising a transparent member, and having a prescribed length wherein each end surface part is connected; a reflecting part 4 connected to the end surface on the fist light guide part 12 side; a photoelectric conversion part 3 connected to the end surface on the second light guide part 13 side; a scintillator part 2 arranged on the periphery of the light guide part 1; a shielding part 6 arranged on the periphery of the scintillator part 2, having the functions of transmitting radiation and blocking light from the outside; and a signal processing display part 18 for processing a signal outputted from the photoelectric conversion part 3.
