Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a storage device, shorten a retrieval time, and detect an illegal duplication by rejecting reception when the date and time of a check is older than a specific date and time.
CONSTITUTION: A check processing system 200 at a store where the check 101 is received certifies it and checks whether the issue date and time entered into the check body is older than the date and time counted back from the current date and time by a certain period by a date and time comparison part 14, and rejects the reception by an acceptance judging part 15 when the date and time are older. Further, the store identifier of a reception store is taken out of the check body and a store identifier comparison part 17 confirms that the identifier is its identifier stored in a storage identifier storage part 16, thereby rejecting the acceptance by the acceptance decision part 15 when it is different. Further, a check identifier is taken out of the check body and a check identifier retrieval part 21 performs retrieval from an accepted check identifier storage part 20 and judges as double issuing when the check having the same identifier has been already accepted, thereby rejecting the reception by the acceptance judging part 15.
